You are a good mom.

So I’m definitely not the most organized Mom. I didn’t fill the chalkboard with their likes, age, and what they want to be when they grow up or make waffles for breakfast, but I did however get them all to school fully clothed with bug spray and sunscreen and lots of hugs and kisses.
Isla cried for me.
You are a good mom if you love your children. Period.
It doesn’t mean you love them more if you sign them up for all the things, are by their side every second, or if you don’t sometimes shift the focus onto yourself instead. You are still a good mom.
I LOVE watching these tiny yet huge transitions. I love being there beside them on the days I have made myself available, and I also love receiving pictures from my nanny and hubby on the days I am working in the hospital or coaching on zoom.
Why did I decide to launch Relationship Rx the first day of school? Because love and connection are my passion and making sure other women have all the tools and resources I didn’t 8 years ago matters to me. My kids are watching, learning, thriving, and absorbing, and hopefully not becoming entitled if I can help it. I wouldn’t change a thing. Everyday is an experiment and I learn from each moment.
